This blog is nothing outstanding.  It will be random, quirky, unique.  Like me.  Sometimes it will make sense, sometimes it will not.

You will see recipes.  Photographs.  Poems, either originals authored by me, or favorites from others.  Thoughts and ramblings.  Bible verses.  Songs.  Book reviews/raves/rants.  Adventures - exciting or not.  Stories of how God is moving in every corner of the world, and how I get to see it and be a part of it.

My life will flow through my fingertips however I feel led to express it.

But know this - it will all be centered around my Saviour Who is calling me out on the waters of life.  Through the calm and through the storm, I'm learning to keep my eyes on Him so I don't lose faith and sink beneath the waves.

My blog's name, "When Oceans Rise", is taken from the song Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) by Hillsong.  If you haven't heard it, go listen to it right now.  If you have, do it again, and let those incredible lyrics sink in.  Live them.
